The METZ SHRINKER STRETCHER TOOL SET (part number 0603A) is a professional-grade tool designed to help you form sheet metal into precise curves and angles. The set includes two bodies, one with a shrinking jaw and one with a stretching jaw.

The shrinker jaw contracts sheet metal for inside curves, while the stretcher jaw expands sheet metal for outside curves. Both jaws can form curves with a radius as small as 3″, allowing you to reproduce almost anything requiring the combination of a curve and an angle, including wheel-well flanges, compound dog legs, and trunk corners.

This hand-operated press provides 45 to 1 leverage with a 13″ L handle, making it easy to use. The tool can be clamped onto the jaws of a vice or stand for added stability and control.

The METZ SHRINKER STRETCHER TOOL SET is capable of forming sheet metal into precise curves and angles for use in such areas as rear wheel arches, dog legs, window edges, and trunk edges. The maximum capacity for the tool is 1.2mm/18ga mild steel and 1.5mm/16ga aluminum, with a throat measurement of 90mm/3 1/2″ and a jaw clearance of 3.2mm/1/8″.
